Quote:
From Friday, 8th July, Odeon will be screening all seven Harry Potter films in anticipation of the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2, which opens in cinemas nationwide on Friday 15th July.
And for those wanting to be the very first to witness the end of the nine year cinematic phenomenon, Odeon will be showing special midnight screenings of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
The film has been described by Telegraph reviewer Philip Womack as: "monumental cinema" and rated five stars.
"Radcliffe’s erstwhile plankishness has transformed into a heroic stoicism; Watson has perfected the requisite winsome, fearful look, panting and gasping with the best of them; and even Grint can now do “emotional”, pulling off a big scene in which one of his brothers is slain," said Womack.
"This is monumental cinema, awash with gorgeous tones, and carrying an ultimate message that will resonate with every viewer, young or old: there is darkness in all of us, but we can overcome it."
Tickets for the Harry Potter™ Season which includes the following screenings at selected cinemas are currently on sale at £3 per film.

Sensible prices. I hope that this is a big success.

As someone who has seen a few minutes of one of the films on TV, I'm tempted to go and watch the whole series.

I'm also waiting for LOTR to come out so I can watch that too.

One day, I'll also watch the six Star Wars films.

There are only three Star wars films and three extra sad desperate cash in pieces of [LIFTED].

I remember watching several complete trilogies at the cinema a few moons ago.

Star Wars
Alien
Hellraiser
Rambo
Indiana Jones

Used to pop out for a smoke, extra beers and a curry between flicks.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

Yes I saw that. With some companies I would expect it.

Yeah 11 1/2 hours was a bit much in one go.
Judging by the dates, this will be one film per day.

Yes for kids it might be too long in one go. Though I have seen all the Star Treks (up to that date) in sequence at the cinema, nearly twelve hours with breaks between films.

I thought about renting the previous ones before going to see the last one. Maybe.

Once the DVD is out I will look at getting the box set. That would be the best way to get it.

I watched the first 2 films, then gave up. They are travesties. :(

I’ll watch the last one, and then put up with my other half complaining that they’ve got darker and grimmer and not at all fun.
