I'm looking for the equation that can be used to plot population numbers generation upon generation. The equation is... P1 = some function of R and P0. Where P1 is the next generation population. P0 is the current population. R is the growth rate (or something) It basically creates different plots over time based on the value of R. It stabilises when R is about 2. Just been watching The Code and the equation they gave on there is a load of rubbish. Looking for the real one. Any ideas? TVM! --- I am here: http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=53.850991,-1.530979 |

Thank you! I was using the right equation but p is not the population but the population as a percentage of the maximum possible population. --- I am here: http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=53.851149,-1.530915 |
