Post subject:  Does anyone know the equation?

I'm looking for the equation that can be used to plot population numbers generation upon generation.

The equation is...

P1 = some function of R and P0.

Where P1 is the next generation population.
P0 is the current population.
R is the growth rate (or something)

It basically creates different plots over time based on the value of R. It stabilises when R is about 2.

Just been watching The Code and the equation they gave on there is a load of rubbish.

Looking for the real one. Any ideas?

TVM!

Thank you!

I was using the right equation but p is not the population but the population as a percentage of the maximum possible population.
