I'd like to tell you about my mate's brilliant idea, The Invisible Festival.

It's better if he tells you himself, though. Check out:

This is something that even Spotify themselves think is a great idea.

That looks completely silly - I think I'll get my tent out for it :D

I can't find any news on who's playing; has anyone agreed yet?

Message sent to the Facebook group earlier this week:

This is just a quick message to let you all know we now have 100 people in our group. This is astonishing in such a short space of time. It's really good to have you all with us.

The festival is fast approaching and almost every day I get a new message on my phone about another amazing band, act or personality that wants to get involved.

We are starting to get some press too, with an article in Marketing Magazine, some charity websites, Spotify's blog and a fair few mentions on twitter, support from lovebox, Glastonbury and Cancer Research UK.

Spotify will soon be running our adverts for free to their million-strong users. Keep an ear out for them, we have had some proper, professional voice talent volunteer to help.

It's agony not being able to tell you who we have lined up to entertain you, but trust me, they are all 100% Grade A. You're going to hear some wonderful music.

Now it all comes down to you.

Have a think about hosting an Invisible Festival in your house.
Ask around your friends and see who wants to join in on the 8th and 9th of August. Remember we want people to camp out at your place, so let them know that it's going to be a proper festival.

We will be launching our downloadable guide to making a really good festival in your house soon, so keep an eye on your inbox. We will send you a message when it's ready.

In the meantime, make sure you've downloaded Spotify, it's free and good, and you will need it to join in the festival.

It's going to be a great festival.

Matt & Mark & Paul
