I remember study this when I did behavioural psychology at uni. A fascinating but totally scary event. |

Indeed. It's had very long standing consequences on the way psychological research is done - you'd never be able to run that experiment or anything even vaguely like it today. Jon |

You still have milder versions like Big Brother on TV, or I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here. Then you have real life versions like the way we treat our elderly and disabled in homes. |

I vaguely recalled something about this back when I was doing A-levels. It was highly interesting, but as above, these days you can't perform research using this kind of methodology. It's deemed "unethical"! |
