I discovered video game music. :)

I had a go at some of those weird Japanese Touhou games (it was called Embodiment of Scarlet Devil), which are those vertical side-scrolling shooters, much like Ikaruga. The musical score on these is bloody epic!

This is some

8-)

A short while ago I got a Nokia 5800 Express Music phone and that has several tracks and videos on it. I became obsessed with the track Sister Siam by The Whip. I played it several times a day and couldn't get it out of my head. I bought their album with it on and I like it.

The track that started it all. http://www.last.fm/music/The+Whip/_/Sister+Siam

I've discovered Scott Joplin's ragtime piano compositions - their hypnotic charm has me hooked.

Is that grow up and blow away, or is there a new one out?

My favourite is Old World Underground, Where Are You Now?

Hmm - they sound promising. I’ll have to sample more in a while - kind of made me think of Transvision Vamp.

Yes! That's what I thought too. Ordered this, and I highly recommend it:
