Posted here for max exposure.

I've got a friend who lives a few hundred miles away. He's normally on COD on a daily basis - I've played MW2 and Blops with him. When MW3 came out, we played together on Tues and Weds but he then suddenly signed off. We figured he got kicked from the game and got fed up (we've all had problems with getting into games, lag and getting kicked out etc).

He's not been on PSN and in fact appears to be missing from my friends list. He's also missing from the friend list of everyone else I know on PSN. He's not responding to texts or calls but he's definitely been online on a car forum (not posted but just been online).

None of us know what's going on and we're getting a bit concerned.

Any idea on what we can do?

Any idea on how to tell whether a PSN account has been deleted/deactivated?

Can you just post on the car forum "Has anyone seen...?"

However, showing on-line doesn't prove it's him. My mum is always signing on as me, because I keep forgetting to sign out after I use her computer when I go round!
