Any tips on how to do this without killing yourself? Currently working full time and then about 5-6 hours in the evening and I am so tired it's ridiculous. Thing is, I need (ok, maybe not "need" but "really want" if I want to get something good out of it) to put in the hours. Any advice or tips on how best to do it? I really don't want to compromise my day job at this point as I still need (yes "need" ![]() I know there are other out there who are doing the same, any tips welcome ![]() |

Arrange 'you' time where you do neither Been doing similar with work and work side projects (aiming to get 4 WP7 apps on the marketplace by end of christmas) to deliver a lot of extra work, been doing 10-12 hours at work in the day, some evening work and working some of the weekend too at the minute so know the feeling |

You can work constantly if you want, but you need sleep. No sleep equals stress, equals slower work, equals more hours. Get the sleep, stay healthy and active and don't procrastinate and you'll be able to stay ahead of the game. You need time off from stress, not time off from work necessarily. |

Is possible but only in short bursts IMO. I need a min of four hours sleep to function. As a one-off, I can cope with the help of redbull. If it's night after night, my immune system takes a hit and I'm more susceptible to coughs/colds. Either do burst napping, so regular naps throughout the 24 hour period clocking up approx 6-8 hours total or have two 4 hour sleeps which will help. |

Got a feeling this will be me soon too, had a number of potential side projects at work and some of the perks look quite appealing (more WP7 dev given their current offer, but it means making an app a week between now and xmas) |

Practise and Tea (biscuits optional). In my A-levels I got by with about three hours sleep a day, then one day most months I'd crash out and sleep for about 12-16 hours. When I got to uni I got lazy, not needing to be up for lectures until midday threw me completely. Each evening wouldn't be completely dedicated to one thing, I'd have breaks of varying length. During this period mornings weren't my strong point, to the point where my driving instructor refused to take me for lessons in the morning. But I functioned well enough to do school work, etc. |
