Someone help me, I'm addicted to OS X.

I played with my sister's iMac G5 too much, and now I've gone and bought my own second-hand Mac Mini.

Nothing too special, 1.42GHz G4 Processor, 1024MB RAM, 80GB HDD. No Airport or Bluetooth though, so am seeking external solutions.

You need to read the Mac Killer issue of Custom PC. I never would have guessed that Apple used such poor screens.

I knew about the screens, hence I'm using my PC monitor. :)

I was looking at something similar a few months back to make into a slightly more open and compatible AppleTV, but the video playback isn't great apparently, I'd personally be looking at an early C2D model...

Me too, for much the same reason. The second hand prices are shocking though. If you look at the recent sales on eBay, they mostly go for well over £300 so I'm sticking with my old PC :(

Which is one of the reason that Macs are good value. They hold their value really well in comparison to PCs.

:)

I'd expect it to last me at least 5 years, so the trade in value is not an immediate concern.
