I am a bit confused. Is a Level 5 warning better or worse than a Level 1 warning. If it is worse, what is the highest that the Level warning can go up to before we all die?

We really do need to get this sort of thing cleared up as soon as possible. Lives could be at steak! ;)

I kinda figured that Level 1 would be your normal day-to-day sloppiness, with maybe a Level 2 being your common or garden 'postrophe panic.

Wow, that's quite a collection there!

And that's only page 1!

First mistake is 6 words in... That has to be a record!

Corrections as far as I can see...

beautiful, (no capital, needs comma)
Daytona Beach, Florida (needs comma)
grammatical break down here... There's a compound mistake that I can't really count properly.

Anyway, the sentence should be thus...

This story begins on a beautiful, sunny day in Daytona Beach, Florida with David Braymer, a 45-year-old, single man who works as a 12th grade science and astronomy (I'm guessing they got the wrong word) teacher at the local high school.

WTF do they keep using "Now" for?!

Cheral's place is how close to the cape? Oh, real close.

What book is this?!?!

I might have to buy it and correct it before sending it back to the publisher.

It’s probably been dictated.

 true.

It looks like they punctuated it with a paintball gun and a sieve.

I don't think I've seen anything as bad as that before.

Nope, First mistake is only 4 words in...it should read:

Quote:
CHAPTER 1

The beginning of the end

Who’s going to point out similarities between the grammatical errors on the first page and the comments then?

That is 5 words in :) (7 if you include the Chapter 1 bit...)
