Needs to be readable quickly but formal, high chance of being printed. I've opted for Cambria Are there better ones? |

I use Calibri but as long as its easy to read then I doubt it matters too much. |

If the job you're going for is design-related, then it might matter a little. If it's anything else, as log as people can read it and it's not Comic Sans, you're probably OK. Jon |

+1 Cambria looks nice to me, but unless you know the personal preference of the person reading the CV, it's probably not going to make any difference unless you choose the Dreaded Font That Must Not Be Named, or Wingdings. |

Courier. It's what I typed my CV in on the old type writer and I don't see why I should change now. Fixed point fonts are clear and timeless and make you look clever. |

I'd go for a sans serif font, in preference to a serfic font (Calibri over Cambria, Helvetica over Times), but as the others say, as long as the font is clean and readable, it shouldn't matter too much. |

When I'm teaching PowerPoint design, (I know it's not the same as a CV, but the principle still applies) I tell them to use a san-serif font for more "in your face" impact and a serif font to make it look more professional. Courier or Times New Roman would be my choice. |
