eBay, a guy on there was selling them and they were set to end at 5:30pm and a start price of 0.99p. No postage because it's pick up only and it so happens he only lives about 15minutes away.

I know, I've been looking at what various peeps have been doing with there's seems leopard wouldn't be wise but I have Tiger kicking around somewhere so that might get a look-in. It sold for $1,299 when launched according to my findings.

Ideally I want to put a Tiger server on it but still trying to find a cheap copy somewhere.

You may be able to get away with the client. Remember, you’ll have a full Apache server onboard. A couple of tweaks and you’ll have MySQL and PHP running.

Just found this mod, if only I had the time and tools.

Yeah, if i can't find a server copy I will be using Apache for my test server since the PSU in my win box is crackered.

Edit: forgot the link http://www.applefritter.com/node/2241

There was an outfit once who took iMacs gutted them, put them in 1U cases, rack mounted them and used them as cheap servers.

You could also use an app called MAMP for server duties too.
