I have seen typewriters with USB keyboard mods so they actually work with an iPad.

I am also mulling the Remingtom Remelle typewriter I saw in a charity shop yesterday.

Where does that arm go when it's not in the forward position, and why is it just a liquorice allsort glued to a lollipop stick? Also why is it punching about three letters at the same time, also why is it activated at all when none of the keys on the keyboard are depressed?
