I thought this might be fun. Report your favourite online April Fools jokes and spoofs.

Here's one that came to me via Twitter:

Firebox wrote:
Tired of slumming it in festival campsites? Sick of the modern trappings of today’s caravans? Well don’t look now, but a ludicrously opulent (and frankly spectacular) alternative has just appeared on the horizon. And there’s room enough for everyone!

Exclusive to Firebox, Tentanic is your first class ticket to camping in style. A 1:2 scale replica of the world’s most famous luxury liner, this easy-to-assemble tent will sleep up to 1000 of your friends. Far grander than the usual flimsy nylon offerings, Tentanic offers a hint of the high life whether you’re bedding down at Glastonbury or halfway up a mountain.

Apple patents the rectangle

Somehow, it's not the same when it's on a Sunday.

See, that could be a 'real' story from the Mail, it was posted on the 31st and a family did indeed commit an apparent suicide in '10, but.... ;)

Not sure if it's related to April Fools but google maps has a new option today (or at least in the last day or two since I last used it). Where you can normally choose between map or satellite view, there is now an option for QUEST, what looks to be a 2D game map representation of the real world.

Streetview has been reduced down to 8bit as well. :)

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.
