Can anyone pitch Twitter to me. Why should I twitter.

I have friends who tweet, but say it takes a bit of getting into.

You can get news so much faster than from traditional outlets for a start. E.g. if Gordon Brown took a bullet to the face you'd see it on Twitter before the BBC.

I'm on Facebook, Myspace, Live Journal and several forums including my own little "club". They take up far too much of my life already, without having "I made a big poo" or whatever it is twits twitter about a hundred times a day. I've already blocked Facebook updates from most applications and 90% of my "friends"!

If I want news, I'll use a news feed. RSS FTW. If Sky / BBC / Al Jazeera / Reuters et al are 10 minutes behind the twits I really don't care. Hopefully they at least filter out the crap.

If I want to catch up on someone's personal news, I'll read their blog or Facebook.

I'm going to make a wild guess that kuuushi might just mean something along the lines of happpy, or maybe haaapy but the first guess looks better on screen.
