Well, I guess I won't be seeing it then Thick cloud cover, raining, not a hint of blue or sun in the sky. Did anyone else get to see it? I also missed the last lunar eclipse because of sh*t weather

I got up at 05:00 to see what I could see. A little cloud cover that happened to be of benefit by acting as a filter.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

Great photo. Very atmospheric. I'll have to catch it next time.

Complete gayness. Fell asleep around 3am and hence unable to get up to view the bleeding thing. I'll have to wait over a 100 years now!

well, you have medical training. You can dedicate the next 100 years of your life to extending it to the point where you'll still be around for the next one

I've had a chance to review and tidy up the images I took this morning and this one below is what I consider to be the best. Thinking about it now I had plenty of time to use other locations with other subjects than the tree. Well it was stupid o'clock in the morning and no coffee. Maybe next time....

Splendid photo, Belching. I have a dust spot on my sensor so I can take a photo of a planet in front of the sun any time I want.
