Movie news and trailers

Postby pcernie » Mon Jul 06, 2009 11:02 pm

I'm gonna post any movie trailers I find interesting here from now on :)

To begin with, here's a trailer for a zombie film called The Horde which looks interesting:

8-)

I'm thinking that if a trailer gives away half the plot I won't bother posting it, and it might be an idea for anyone else posting trailers to advise if they think it shows too much :?

EDIT - I've decided to add interesting (or just quirky) movie news too :)

Baywatch movie!:

And I thought that turning kids toys into films was a bad idea, reaching new heights with GI Joe, but those two are just NO! (Sorry Heather for taking grammatical liberties :D )

God, they must be getting really desperate if they're going to make a film about a tenth-rate hero like the Green Lantern. Who cares? Apart from Batman (perhaps), Marvel had all the best characters anyway so I guess DC must be frantic to catch up.

I've never been a big GL fan, but I can see the appeal. Also, I'd say DC have their eye on a live-action Justice League at some point (it's been on and off for ages now). And you could say the same about Wonder Woman, but done right, you'd have a brand new 'franchise' as they're fond of saying...

I agree that Marvel stand a better chance of appealing at the cinema (by sheer character numbers if nothing else), but so many of their films are just average, and some are just plain sh1t. IMO the Spider-man films are average, as are the Hulks, then you've got crap like Ghost Rider
