http://www.techradar.com/news/computing ... re-1081944 I've read that a few times and I'm still not really sure what they're doing, bar some dodgy sounding research around phones  No doubt Intel dazzled George with aspirational drivel and will be avoiding tax somehow

It sounds like a big Internet of Things play, which means putting every streetlight, fridge, electric meter, bus car and whelbarrow all onto the internet at once. There's a company in America building a multi billion dollar uninhabited city to test all this stuff out in - which is great because they don't need permits to dig up roads and so on. But these guys apparently want to test their crap in a living city. |

That's because it doesn't actually say what they're doing. However it does sound like yet another half-a*sed proposal for a smart city. |
