Just had a phone call from a gentleman of the Indian persuasion from a company called Creative Solutions Online, claiming that my PC was sending corrupt files to them and that as they contained my computer's CLSID, they (somehow) managed to get my phone number (didn't say how they managed this) and said they'd scan my PC and sort out the "problems". He quickly noticed my exceedingly health sense of skepticism (I have a PhD in skepticism from the University of Skeptics), but never the less he went on trying to convince me that I had problems.

Suffice to say I got bored after a few minutes of debating the fact that there was no way he could have got the info he claimed to have, and there was nothing at all wrong with my PC.

Has the word SCAM written all the way through, over and under it.

Just remember that every minute that you keep him on the phone is 60 seconds that he can't scam some poor naïve old dear.

I keep them on the line as long as possible.

I think about this, but after awhile can't be bothered. I kept talking for a few minutes once, then asked the person how they felt trrying to defraud some poor innocents of their cash, and if they could sleep at night.

I wish they'd phone me, although now I say that it would probably be at a really bad time or catch me unaware.

"How does it feel, knowing that you will be reincarnated as a slug and that your children and grandchildren for generations to come will be cursed with bad Karma because of the evil that you do?"

To which the probable reply is "I have 10 children that will starve in this life if I can't con someone out of their savings".

next time they phone say to them "aapka baabul harami hai aur aapki aami SHARAABI hai"

very very harsh use of words, worse than the "F" word, if they are muslim Indians then they will be VERY offended, I basically said "your dad is a f***ing b***ard and your mum is an alcoholic.

I said that and he said in a low voice "same to you, same to you.... then silence... then I heard in the backround someone shouting "THE GUY IS CALLING US HARAMI OMG" in punjabi

then they hung up
