Post subject:  Dad update
The latest news in better than the last. He says he's feeling much better. He told me he woke up one morning recently and felt different. He got up and decided that he would not have any more meals in bed. He has also been walking further than before. I suspect he will be having a go at driving soon. He also no longer has a nurse visiting him- he has to go to his GP's surgery to see the nurse there.

So, all looking good now.

He's been feeling so pot bound being confined to the house. What he wants to do is get down to the park and walk along the canal and river again.

Spoke to him again today - he’s been driving. Apparently he’s been driving reasonable distances. He has also been down to the park and walking along the towpath.

This is all excellent news and if he’s not in the caravan on the Essex coast next month, I’ll be surprised.
