A wide selection of great photos this month. Very close at the final count but Go On then pips Tree Versus Rock as it acheived a greater number of 5 point votes.

New round will appear shortly.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

Well done, Heather! Phew, that was close - think I would have struggled to think of a subject so glad you pipped it there!

Eep!

This is getting a bit embarrassing now. I was making a mental note of how the voting was going, and was thinking if I won that I would stand aside and let second place choose a theme this time.

However, as Steve said he wouldn't be able to think up a theme, I guess I'll have to. I'll post back later, once I recover from my Dawn Raid.

Okay, here's a new topic for September: Starting My Day

It's the best I can come up with, but seemed appropriate since I was up at stupid o'clock today to see the sunrise.

Congrats, Heather, a worthy winner.

I remember when we struggled to get entries. Now, voters seem to be harder to come by. Especially the ones who vote on time.

There are a couple of things that I do first thing in the morning that may not be suitable to photograph, or post here.

I'll post the new comp thread soon, but been for drinks after a terrible day at work and will focus better in the morning.
