Or is it all a big inside joke that they're playing on the rest of us. Seriously, I'd expect to see some of the stuff they come out with in a Sacha Baron Cohen script. If you try to stop that baby being born I'll kill you AND the baby. WTAF!? Does his brain really know what his mouth is saying?

I refer you to thisThey're stupid and the people who run the country know they are stupid but that's OK because they're stupid too. Jon

At least we don't put them in to power and show them all over TV talking about politics and stuff. At the worst they get onto Big Brother or some other "Reality" TV show.

I'm pretty sure he meant deadly force on the Doctor carrying out the abortion! Edit: Also pointing out the irony in your first post

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

There are nearly 5 times as many people in the US as there are here, so that's 5 times as many idiots!
Politics in this country is just as stupid and way less fun and entertaining.
And when you meet actually, on the ground Americans they're lovely. Some are stupid, but it's largely through ignorance and lack of education due to the system they were born into. Whereas here, a lot of idiots are that way by choice IMO.

Did anyone listen to Today in Parliament on Friday? There was this gem from Gavin Barwell MP: http://www.publications.parliament.uk/p ... 1443000003

I suspect a spot of trolling going on here, but worth it for a giggle anyway. http://uk.answers.yahoo.com/question/in ... 523AAwwcP5

True, but it's also less extreme. The polictical gap between the Tories and Labour is much less than between the Republicans and the Democrats. The same is true of teh news coverage of politics. You should see some of the rants on the American news.
