Today, I was cosmetically refacing some frost damaged bricks. One, which formed part of the arch over a window, was badly corroded and needed a little former underneath otherwise my mixture would have just kept falling out. I went to the van grabbed the only bit of wood that was remotely right for length and a short bit of 4inch board. Fitted perfectly without trimming.
So what, coincidence you might say. Its just that this happens more often than not. It ranges from having the right number of bricks in the van to do a particular job (it takes an age to go to Builder Centre for more) to todays example.
It's only little things I know but it makes the day go better for sure
