I want to catch up with Avengers, but that's about it.

I'm going to try and watch The Hobbit this weekend, I've heard good things about The Avengers, I'm curious about the Bourne Legacy and I saw Skyfall already and thought it was brilliant. Otherwise I haven't heard of any of those films.

It's a good job, has enough of it's director's geeky quirkiness

I wouldn't say it's inter-stellar , but I consider it a good starting point for what's coming. On the over-rated point, I found the reviews to be 'Marmite'. I don't know anyone who didn't like it, personally. The three films I listed all have their problems, it's just they're the gold dust on the mainstream cinematic turd that was 2012

It was very formulaic and predictable. I went to see it on day one and was able to work out the extra passenger and the relationship with Charlize's character, well before it was announced. Plenty of plot holes like how would the two geologists get lost with all that mapping equipment?
