Folks Assassin8or and I have been asked to put together a new default forum template and general forum design tweaks. I could do with some pointers from your selves as to what you want as the base colour theme for the template. Firstly please remember you are the ones who will have to live with this so take care and think about it. I've listed a few different ones I've found below, but are there any you want us to add to the list before I put it out to a vote. http://www.big-boards.com/( Orange / Yellow / white ) http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/index.php ( blue / blue / blue ) http://boards.ign.com/( shades of grey ) http://forums.d2jsp.org/ ( pale blues ) http://www.nexopia.com/forums.php ( black / red / white ) http://vnboards.ign.com/ ( grey / orange / white ) http://www.christianforums.com/ ( bright blues but an interesting layout ) http://forum.bodybuilding.com/( blues and white ) http://www.honda-tech.com/( greys and white ) http://www2.fanforum.com/ ( grey blue white ) So lets say I'll take suggestions to add to this list until 18:00 UK time 29 April, then put it out to a vote.

Out of the entire list. I can tell you that I only like how gaia is set out. And the colour scheme of it.

Cool so any others you've seen elsewhere, and like, that you wanted added to the list. I rather liked that one as well.

I have subsilver2 as my forum setting and I'm really happy with it.

How are these changes going to be managed? Will it just happen, or will someone produce a mock-up??

Mock up in a test environment based on feedback and peoples preferences.

They'll be drawn on the back of a beer mat in crayon then all put on a table. Then we'll release the rabbit. Whatever one survives the rabbit will win. If we don't like the one the rabbit chooses we'll use the Hello Kitty theme

The only thing I would ask is... Not too garish. Please!
I've said it before and I'll say it again.
I'm at work, and I'm meant to be working. If I've got bloody great swathes of bright, (as in garish) colours on the screen, someone is going to notice, then I'll get yelled at.
We really don't want that, do we?

Are you talking about forum colour schemes or your "private" movie collection?
