USS Enterprise feasibility study petition

Now, despite this being a really cool concept, I genuinely do not see how it can be adequately completed using current technologies.
Engineer petitions the White House to conduct a feasibility study on building the Starship Enterprise

Feasibility study means it wouldn't be done for another 20+ years

and petition means 'as useful as prayer', but the difference is no one believes in the effectiveness of petitions.

Many of the technologies are not feasible right now. Though it might be cheaper than trying to build a death star which has also being voted for.
