Not really a news item so posting here. Basically a few different doctors got asked a question and gave their reply.
http://www.guardian.co.uk/lifeandstyle/ ... rs-wont-doIn all honesty, I've always tried to avoid doing/taking things. I try an avoid even just paracetamol for headaches/pains unless I can't cope - the maximum is probably 32 tablets in an entire year. I either try and bear through it or try and manage with rest/fluids/avoid technology.
Even in the Ponderances thread, I'm having investigations. The surgeon is probably keen to cut, whereas I'm happy to avoid surgery.
What about you guys? Is there anything you'd try and avoid? Is there anything on the list that surprises you about these doctors' beliefs?
