Motorola's Moto E4 Plus might have an absurdly large battery | TechRadar
http://www.techradar.com/news/motorolas ... ge-battery

Even the battery life in my G4 is great, and it got even better with the Nougat update. I'm quite a fan of Lenovo and it's offshoots. The Lenovo Yoga tablets are amongst the best Androids IMO.

Everybody might as well have a pop; there isn't one speaker that's truly great. And IME, the Echo should never have been released in it's current state. Shouting from an obscure angle after you've followed the BS placing instructions? GTFO.

Virgin Media has started turning customer routers into public Wi-Fi spots | TechRadar
http://www.techradar.com/news/virgin-me ... i-fi-spots

I never understand these ideas... Surely if you need Wi-Fi these days you're in your own house, a friend's, or in the town... all of which usually have it. How often are you likely to need to connect to it near a stranger's house?

Say it ain't so: Amazon Echo will soon play ads | TechRadar
http://www.techradar.com/news/say-it-ai ... n-play-ads

I still might send me Echo back to Amazon even now; it's the most half-baked release from any company in years, even rivalling MS. And apparently they'd like to make it even worse.

They've been doing solar energy for about 2 years now. They bought out his cousin's company, SolarCity, last summer, but had been doing a deal with SolarCity for Tesla car buyers in the US before that.

But they still don't support the phones for long. They announced 2 weeks ago, that Nexus and Pixel devices will be supported with new software versions for 18 months, after that, they go on 6 months life support (security patches). Regular updates, especially security patches are the reason why I bought a Nexus last time, but I won't be buying Android again...

No idea what I will get next time, I won't get Android or iOS and Windows Mobile has no market share, therefore a dearth of apps...
