Well, I've just watched the whole of The 4400 up to the end of season 4. It finished on a cliffhanger ending but then I found out it was cancelled.

I also watched Firefly... Which was also cancelled.

Oh, and Dollhouse which was also cancelled.

(Is it a coincidence that Summer Glau ::drool:: was in all three?)

The last TV series I watched that actually got to the end of its story was Battlestar Galactica. Awesome tv series. Even more awesome ending to the show.

So, can you recommend a tv show to watch that isn't going to leave me hanging half way through the story?

Tvm :-)

Oh, I've also watched Fringe, Supernatural and Breaking bad :D

But not to the end.

I may go and re-watch to completion of those series :D

Never seen Dexter though.

This thread got me thinking though. How "easy" would it be to create a crowd-sourced iPhone app to recommend "things" (tv shows, movies, books, music) to users.

Depending on how I would go about it there are two ways the algorithms would work collaborative and content-based These are what items do other people like who also like the items you like and what items share characteristics of the items you already like respectively.

The interface only needs to be simple but it would definitely be possible.

LOL, I hate my mind sometimes. Always creating more work for me.

Technically they rounded off Arrested Development. They axed it halfway through the third series, but they knew it was happening before they filmed it so they adjusted the script.
It's a good watch.

Fringe and Supernatural are still being made (dunno about Breaking Bad) so it's no surprise you haven't watched them to the end. (8+)

+1 for Arrested Development.

I'm currently making my way through Andromeda. A friend keeps trying to convince me to watch "Weeds", he insists it's excellent.

There's more coming apparently....
