Does anyone here have an @tiscali.co.uk edress that I could test something out with, please? If so please DM me your edress.
Basically, I think they have blanket blocked @mac.com messages, but I think @me.com work okay. I'd just like to send messages from each of those addresses to test.

All my mail goes through me.com so the Apple mail is working, it could be at your ISP. I have not been online much today so it could have been in fits and starts but it all arrived when I went online.

Most of my mail, and by that I mean about 99.999999999%, is from mac.com, not me.com,

Don't they use the same servers?

I would've thought so, but sending messages from my iPad get through fine, from my Mac, always bounced back. The only thing I can see different is the me/mac domain. I may try sending from the @me account on the Mac and see where that gets me.
The mail app on both devices (if my Mac can be called that) is setup to use the same account, so the message failures are somewhat puzzling.

I suspect that if your iPad is wireless as well then the messages are going through the same IP address as well, so that is starting to confuse me as well.

Fixed! After much head scratching, and a small amount of web searching, I came upon the answer all by myself - and totally by accident. I changed the SMTP settings from 'smtp.mail.me.com' to just 'smtp.me.com' and viola. Message delivery from my @mac.com edress is getting through just fine.

Mine runs through iCloud so I do not see the smtp settings.
