Commander Hadfield recorded a version of David Bowie’s Space Oddity on the ISS.

Cmdr Hadfield is a pretty awesome man (in top of being an astronaut).
Look at his twitter account @cmdrhafield and youtube account for cool stuff. He did a cook show in the station and takes cool photos from space.

I cook and take photos too. Does that mean I'm awesome? :D

Me too, but you also have an awesome job... Maybe if you filmed yourself as you cooked a meal on the reef? ;)

Only if you do it in space.

Technically, we all do everything in space.

Is this the most expensive music video ever?

I was wondering if that was his guitar or not. I was also wondering who used the capo.

It's the ISS's resident guitar. Got shipped up a while back. Hadfield used some of his personal weight allowance to take up some new strings for it.

Today he took over another Bowie role... The man who fell to Earth.

Whilst I appreciate the spectacle and majesty of it all, that dude can't sing.
Also, I'm bored with everyone sharing it Facebook.

Although I'd agree he's no professional vocalist, you have to admire the bloke for doing it given he must have known how many people were going to end up checking it out.
And, whisper it if you like, David Bowie can't actually sing all that well either.

Hmm, I don't agree, though he doesn't have an especially powerful voice and you may not like the timbre of it.
