I'd need no more with 4G than I do with 3G. I just wouldn't need to spend as long waiting to get it.

500MB a month is fine for me. I use Wi-Fi when I'm in data gobbling mode.

But the point is, 4G is probably faster than people's home broadband. 4G is 150mbps over here and Kabel Deutschland has only been rolling out 100mbps for the last 6 months. That means the average person will get much faster data delivery over 4G than over Wi-Fi, unless they are accessing servers on a local network over 802.11n...

If 4G turns out like 3G/HPSA+ in the UK, then you won't get that quality signal in many places. In the countryside GPRS is the norm.

I do not need much most months but occasionally my internet connection via wifi drops out when streaming the radio and that means I switch to 3G

I manage on 250mb / month although ahve to be a bit careful but use Wifi wherever I can

I use as much 3g as I want as I'm on an all you can eat data plan for £18 a month.

Same here but I am trying to measure how much I actually need incase I switch away from an all you can eat plan.
