Well having started the year with dire warnings of heat waves and such it seems to have done a system restore to last year ,not living in the good old uk we get only the worst reports and the weird ones think hurricanes in Bham ,I mean most English here have sky et al , but I have German and Spanish tv it's free ,so I was wondering is it really as bad as the news makes out or is it fairly typical non el nino weather . ;)

It's wet. Very very wet. I've not managed more than 2 minutes gardening in the last 2 weeks, and I got very wet.

Strangely, a lot of people are complaining - having totally forgotten that a few weeks ago it was very very hot and we were all praying for a break in the weather ;)

On the plus side, my vegetables don't seem to mind :D

I'd like the summer back please. It's been no fun at all down here lately. I'm pretty sure I'm ill because of the wet weather.

It's really annoying because for the last three weeks, I've been trying to mow the lawn before I move out and it's rained either every day or every other day. Highly frustrating.

Absolute rubbish. Haven't managed to get down to the tennis club for quite a few days due to the courts being soaked through. Off to Italy quite soon though - hopefully the weather will be a bit better there.

Also, LOL at the system restore bit.

Depends if it’s an air brick or not, I suppose.

Brilliant sunshine in Cornwall today, but otherwise it's been very wet recently - though at least it's still warm, last summer we had freezing temperatures and gale force winds in the Duchy.

Absolute crap in Barnsley. So much so that the racing's been double called off this weekend. Got called off for the first event on Monday, so some people put on a practice event. Now thats been called off. :(

Summer back please.

I wish someone had warned me the monsoon season had started in Cornwall, before I went there for a holiday last week.

I hope it's not too wet down Darset next week. I don't want it too hot, either.

It'll be nice to have something interesting in the sky though (Flickr followers will know of my cloud fetish).

The weather has been just like a British summer round here.

Rain, hail, sunshine and showers.

Bloody weather forecast!
If it has said it was going to rain today, I'd have cut the grass yesterday.
