its held up pretty well ;) driver could of survived if he was still inside (?)

Depends entirely if it was left or right hand drive, by the look of it.

It was anAmerican one, so it's a left hand drive. They do seem to be pretty good in smashes from what I have learned.

In that case the driver possibly would have got out of that impact, looking at the damage. A passenger would probably have been less lucky.

If he was still in the car when it was hit the driver would probably have serious concussion simply from his brain slapping around as a result of the G force from the crash.
