Post subject:  WHAT A LOAD OF RUBBISH ***RESULTS***
Apologies for the late posting of this - work, family illness and a sore neck conspired against me these past few days.

Anyhow, last months theme was What A Load Of Rubbish and it's now time to vote :D

The rules:

* Voting occurs for one week from midnight on the last day of each month until midnight on the seventh day of the month.

* Please vote for your favourite three images.

* You cannot vote for your own image*

Your 1st choice will be awarded 5 points.
Your 2nd choice will be awarded 3 points.
Your 3rd choice will be awarded 1 point.

If there is a draw on say for example 15 points, then the image with the least number of votes will win, such that an image with 3 votes for 5 points will defeat the image with 5 votes for 3 points. It won't be the '2nd best' for everyone, but it will be the 'best' for the few. If it's good enough for a Grand Prix then it is good enough for here.

Please try and keep this thread for votes only, it will make it easier for me to tally up later. If you must comment on images and decisions then please do so in the original thread (once it is unlocked).

This thread will run for 1 week only. At that time the winner will have the option of choosing the next theme, and the deadline for entries to that theme will be the end of the current month.

Most importantly, good luck to all entrants.

Scrap - I love the angles on the car. I didn't even notice the guy in the background to start with, but that's pretty weird. I like weird :)

Leaf Litter - it's very organic. It looks a little staged, but the lighting and colours are really nice.

One man's trash - because nuns are hot (not!). It's a very grainy image; looks more like it was taken with a phone than an SLR but I guess that's down to the low light levels. However, I love the composition. They look like chess pieces.

Perhaps the compo will pick up again, but there seems to a real lack of entries this time round.

Anyway, here are the votes from the Chatham jury:

1. Rubbish Weather.
This would make a great desktop wallpaper, if it was in focus... ;)

2. Leaf Litter.
I want to know how the photographer managed to get into my back yard.

3. Going Nowhere.
This speaks volumes. What happened? Where's the crew? Was it insured? Perhaps we'll never know, and nature is slowly reclaiming it.
