Sometimes there is honour among thieves. I hope the other prisoners give them a good beating.

It never fails to amaze me the amount of people who won't say 'you're a bloody weirdo' to people like him.

What a fcuking scam! Do they think this is a game of Monopoly? The people who paid the 7k need to catch themselves on too by the sound of it.

Terry Richardson. That name tells you all you need to know.

WFT, More Than?

Image

I'm sure some bright spark in their marketing depatement must have thought this was a good idea at the time, but seriously?! How about you just go away and find me the best possible price on the market instead of all this pretence that I'm somehow involved in the whole process. Insurance companies must think we're as thick as 5hit. They charge as much as they think they can get away with, nothing less or More Than that (pun intended)!

Nah, it's just a good way for the insurance industry to pass the buck of responsibility a bit further towards the customer for being under-insured.

I like the idea. My view is that all insurance companies are Thieving B@stards. I hate having to shop around for the best car insurance deals every bleeping year, and I've joked about setting a price for the TBs to match before. The one that gets nearest to my price would get my business!

If I don't make a claim in a year then my premium should either remain the same or go down. Instead, I get a pointless token system which is allegedly a "no claims discount" - which I have to pay extra to protect, remember - and my premium still goes up each year.

The market is rigged in favour of the TBs, backed by law - at least as far as owning and running a car is concerned. Legalised robbery.

This ought to be in the ranting and venting thread! :D

I agree with Davros on this - when you eventually have to make a claim, you'll discover that your self built premium doesn't actually cover you for that situation.

I had an accident a couple of months back - entirely my fault - but the hoops I had to jump through with the insurance company beggars belief. Just because I said up front this was my fault and the other party had no liability, other being on that patch of road at that time. They clearly wanted me to make up some BS story so they could claim shared liability and save themselves a few quid.
