I tend to spend more time looking in the obituaries than the charts these days! ;) :P

I hope that's not part of your job hunting process lol

It hadn't been, but now I think about it, that's not a bad idea at all... ;)

Ridley Scott Almost Got Rid Of Ripley At The End Of ‘Alien’
http://sciencefiction.com/2017/04/04/ri ... -of-alien/

And that right there is why you never went near Giger's stash ;)

I can only assume Scott had had enough by that stage. Cos that's fcuking terrible.

And to use the excuse that they overbook because some people don't turn up is not going to work when it is planned staff movement that was the cause.
They should ALWAYS reserve staff seats in a seperate area - which I thought they did anyway.

Either way physically dragging a doctor, who wanted to get home to ensure some of his patients got care, off a flight so you can give his seat to one of your own flight attendants in full view of a dozen passengers who are recording the whole incident is just about as stupid a move as I can possibly think of. I'm utterly flabbergasted that not ONE of the flight attendants or crew on that flight thought better of it and intervened on the bloke's behalf once it turned ugly.

United has suffered a fall in their market cap of roughly $800m over this. They could have put their staff on a private jet and it wouldn't have cost them 1% of what they've lost. I have pretty much zero sympathy, frankly.

I read their excuses yesterday and to blame the passenger was outrageous. The boss had won a 'best communicator' award in the last year too.

Online adverts 'exploit homeless for sex' - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-39568458

As if the vast majority of people doing that aren't desperate. And that's just the creepy-ass landlords.
