Hi guys. I have a routing issue with one of my clients, and if you have time I was wondering if you could do me a little favour? Their website is http://www.sss.gov.phThe IP is 202.163.226.163 Can you access the website? I know some people can, and some can't. It depends on your ISP, so could you also let me know who you're with? Also, if you can access the website, could you do a trace route for me and paste it in here? If you want to hide your IP then leave out the first couple of lines. On a PC, open the CMD window and type tracert 202.163.226.163To copy it into your post, right-click on the window and select "mark" and highlight the result. On a Mac or 'nix, the command is spelled fully - traceroute 202.163.226.163On a Mac, Terminal is in Applications, Utilities. Thank you in advance.

PlusNet here JJ and I can get to the site.
Have done a trace but the window closes itself as the trace times out and I'm unable to "mark" to copy the results for you. Sorry mate.

Erm, on a Mac there is a lovely little application called Network Utilities. None of this archaic terminal rubbish! Anyway, I'm on plus.net and I can load the site fine. Interestingly, a traceroute fails. Checkout the good looks: I will leave it, and if I eventually get anything other than * I will post back.

I'm a Mac, OS X 10.5.7, Safari 4.0.2. I'm on Demon Internet ADSL. It failed to open at all, with this message: So I dropped it into Network Utility... I hope that helps a bit somehow.

Using a Mac running 10.4.11, on PlusNet too. I can get the website up, but there's a fairly long delay of about 30 seconds before it starts to load (other sites load up almost instantly, so don't think it's my connection). Using Network Utility's Traceroute, I get this: Don't know if that helps.

I am an OS X n00b. Of course, there are many freeware traceroute utilities for Windows and Linux. It's just... I never really felt the need. VisualTracert was quite cool to show friends though; it looked like something off a Hackers film with the lines homing in around the world onto the target

As before, I'm on a Mac running 10.4.11 with PlusNet ISP - using the IP address, I get: It's still producing the *s - currently up to line 44! Will leave it for a while though.
