It's way too late now, but I still haven't seen E.T. ![]() That's not half as bad as a girl I know who's never seen Die Hard - I asked her what her family did at Xmas ![]() |

I wouldn't worry, you're not really missing much. ![]() Hmm, let's see... Easy Rider The Sixth Sense Gladiator Get Carter Rebel Without a Cause Deliverance Vertigo Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon Raging Bull (Mostly picked from here, selecting the ones I'd actually quite like to watch, and ignoring the dross - for example I've never seen the Sound of Music properly, and would quite happily die without ever seeing it ![]() There's probably a lot more I've forgotten about. I've been quite late to the party on quite a few big films - for example I didn't get round to seeing the latest Star Wars films until last year. I also watched Das Boot the other day, and was relieved that it lived up to the hype. I wish I'd seen it sooner! |

Of your list I haven't seen: Easy Rider Rebel Without a Cause Vertigo Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon But then I don't have much desire to see them either ![]() Oh and you couldn't pay me to sit through the sugar-coated CGI of the SW prequels ![]() |

Haven't seen: Gone With The Wind African Queen Brief Encounter Lawrence Of Arabia Citizen Kane ![]() Goodfellas (I've seen Godfather 1 and 2 and that's enough films worshipping gangsters for me) Annie Hall Musicals - Almost all of them. |

I've seen Crouching Tiger, Hidden dragon numerous times. I quite like it but then again, the majority of other people I know who have seen it say it's complete rubbish. |

1. The original script line in Gone... was apparently 'Frankly, Fanny, I don't give a hoot!' ![]() 2. I haven't seen any of the above either except Goodfellas (you really should ![]() 3. I suspect there's a lot of people who've seen big chunks of Kane but never been able to sit through the whole thing ![]() |

I've seen Citizen Kane. It sucks donkey. I have also seen Goodfellas, which does not. I've never seen It's a Wonderful Life Breakfast at Tiffany's Most of the Police Academy series Anything containing Harry Potter, or set in Narnia. Friday 13th, Halloween, Carrie, the Shining. Mission Impossible (any) The sequels to the Matrix (regrettably, I did suffer through the first in the series). Titanic Chinatown. I think I ought to watch the last of those. |

Haven't seen the horror ones you mention bar Halloween (which was ruined as soon as it became clear Michael was invincible ![]() Unfortunately I persuaded myself to sit through Titanic, and I've no real interest in the others ![]() |

Most of those films that are in the "must see before you die" kind of lists. |

So let's see now, a mob boss who has to see one of his son's die. A promising young man who gets sucked in to a life of violence, loses the love of his life in a car explosion and becomes hard, bitter and ends up killing his brother and then lives under constant threat of assasination as his marriage breaks up. That ain't worship, that's a close study of the superficial allure of gangster world, but it isn't worship. Pulp Fiction on the other hand... |

Some genuinely great movies people are missing out on here. ![]() As for films I've missed... I have The Man Who Wasn't There sat on my shelf, for the last 5 years, and I still haven't watched it. And I like the Coen Bros. stuff. I actually can't think of a mainstream movie I've not seen, tbh. ![]() The joys of being a media brat in uni, I suspect. |

I've seen most mainstream films, most trips to the rental shop nowadays result in me going 'seen, seen, seen, seen, seen, haven't seen it has Julia Roberts in it though, seen, seen, seen, Robert Redford *shudder*, seen, seen, seen. |

Kill Bill I gave up on about 20 minutes in - the whole tone of it even before it got to the silliness I knew was coming put me off, and I didn't see the point in wasting 2 hours or whatever... The Godfather I've never seen in one complete sitting. 300 is good, has that certain X-factor for want of a better phrase ![]() Pulp Fiction is brilliant, and I normally can't stand films like that ![]() |
