Anyone else going to be watching the 24hrs of Le Mans this weekend?
I'm really hoping Nissan's utterly bonkers LMP1 cars come good and given the traditional designs a good spanking, but given the lead up to this weekend, I suspect they will have some severe reliability issues.
I'm also keeping an eye out for David Heinemeier-Hansson in one the of the Patron Racing LMP2 cars. He's actually a gentleman driver rather than a professional racer, and is more well known as being the original creator of Ruby on Rails.

I haven't watched it for years.
It is a great event, but I just don't have the time these days. The atmosphere is incredible and there is so much going on around the peripheries.
My brother and some friends were there when Jaguar won. They opened a bottle of champagne every hour (Moet from the Moet tent was cheaper than beer from the beer stalls). The restaurant on the Mulsanne Straight is also an experience - fine dining and glowing brake discs.
