So we all know what's going on today? How would you vote? Yay or nay?
Do you care?

Answers on a postcard please

I would vote No if I was involved today. There isn't enough valid information for a Yes vote except 'in theory' There doesn't appear to be a definite plan, a lot is being talked about in terms of what will be decided after the referendum, but I don't know how people can be expected to make such a massive decision with no concrete information to go on. I suspect it would be bad for Scotland but at the same time, if the majority of residents want to devolve then they should be allowed to, but in entirety, left with their own portion of the debt, sorting out their own currency and making their own way in the world.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Let them have their independence, then march over and take it back by force. It'll keep the others in line too.

I'd vote no if I lived in Scotland.
Mainly because you'd always get a left wing government, and they have a history of not being able to balance the books. In the long term I expect them to be screwed, even if they walk out on their share of the national debt.

Despite the fact there is much uncertainty and possible catastrophe, I'd still vote yes if I was eligible to. The bare fact is I don't believe the government system of the UK is working in the interests of the majority of the population of the UK and I don't think either of the other main parties getting a majority would significantly change that. For all the Scottish parliament's problems, independence would create the opportunity for a fresh start. I'll take the chance of a better country even though there is a risk of ending up in a worse one, at least standard of living wise.

I think Salmond is an arse and has run a very disingenuous and divisive campaign. But that doesn't change the fact independence for Scotland is, in my view, the best option for Scotland.

I would vote yes. I don't see why women should not be allowed to play golf at St. Andrews.

Just in from a friend of mine who lives in Scotland. Here's why she voted no

Don't get me wrong I do believe in independence but too many unanswered questions from me!! Too many what ifs etc. We are screwed no matter what we vote anyway....politics suck..robbing eejits lining their own pockets..

Our experience of becoming semi-independent just meant the [LIFTED] we had before did what they thought a government should do, a bit like now in the mainland where you get fcuked over until the run-up to the election, and all of a sudden the opposition start looking semi-attractive... Though it did become a total two horse race, and I've no idea how getting it's own parliament really affected Scotland, never mind the potential risks and rewards of independence. That said, we were totally hobbled by the fact that, basically, either the Catholic or Protestant side could kill even a small issue like planning permission! There's to be talks now on forming an opposition etc.

That's why I wouldn't know whether to go with my head or heart on Scotland. It comes down to who you think is less of a lying scrote about economic prospects as usual, just with a much bigger outcome! I will say this though; to this day we continue to be treated with contempt by Westminster until people like Dave need a Commons vote shoring up. And we couldn't be any more loyal to the Union... half of us ;)
