The Wire. I love it. I watch it when Wifey works on Saturdays as I am only just starting season 3. Also the CSI series. Can't get enough of them either.
I really like New Tricks as well.

I've really enjoyed the 'Street' on the Beeb, well directed with some very good story lines this series.

Single fave is hard as there are several although they all seem to be on in one evening which is both convenient and irksome.
If I had to pick just one show, I'd probably say 'Only Connect' on BBC4.

Lasko, but it finished last week with a double length episode.
But Alarm for Cobra 11 is starting a new series next month, I think, with episode 200 being a feature film length episode. Should be stuntastic!

I like that too, it's strangely watchable!

Right at the moment, I'm re-watching Entourage from the beginning. It's providing me with some much needed comic relief and really is just as funny second time around. When late September arrives, there will be way too much to choose from again...

I quite like that, but it can be a bit smug at times. Currently my favourite programmes are Big Brother and Supersizers with Giles Coren and Sue Perkins. Oh, and Come dine with me.

This. Dave Lamb's commentary is epic.

It's part of the deal. The appeal of quiz shows that are actually hard - as oppose to the ones that give you a multiple choice of how many arms you've got - is that you do get a sense of achievement when you can answer the questions. Doing sop when the contestant(s) fails is even better. Having said that, the questions in the semi finals seem to be astonishingly tricky. I'm still good at the 'we've removed all the vowels' round though. Jon
