I have some computer-related equipment that is broken and needs to be disposed of. They include a keyboard, mouse, two optical drives, a printer and a few other bits and pieces, all of which do not work and are probably not cost-effective to repair (unless the repair costs £1-2!!!). All are over four years old anyway. I could easily chuck them in the bin and no-one would batter an eyelid but I'd rather do it properly. Any ideas? Can't find anything on the city council website. I vaguely recall something about manufacturers being responsible for recycling who would then pass on the costs involved to the consumer in the way of increased prices. |

You can take it to the tip, they have a section for electrical items. Your local one is most likely Somerford. ![]() |
