We all know that the film Alien is a rich seam to mine, and here's another bloody good dig into the film's design richness. This time, it's typography, and some interesting button labels. And branded corporate beer.

It looks like that site has more gems to offer.

On that sort of score, some real work went into the recent game (I'll post a mini review later in the gaming section when I get a chance).

Dave Addey is a friend of mine. He's done a few of these.

This is the first time it's suddenly got wide notice.

Although, he did help in writing the book "Introduction to Swift" that Apple released for free.

:-)

He’s covered Alien, Moon and 2001. Oddly, three films that I feel rightly belong together anyway - they all carry a common aesthetic and cinematic approach that make space travel/living seem very real and possible, despite the unforeseen consequences. I hope he’s got more write ups on the way.

I’ve been playing Alien: Isolation too. I think the design of the game has been well thought out, and has been held back to the aesthetic of the original film.

He's already been going on about the Star Wars trailer so no doubt that will be coming soon :)
