It'll be somewhat hard to separate that from the effect of the enormous pile of other stuff I intend to eat over the next few days.

Merry 1st Day of Christmas.

We had my wife's youngest brother over for dinner yesterday. He bought 5Kg of wild boar, which my wife soaked in butter milk and spices for 2 days. It pretty much just melted in our mouths. Parsnips, potato dumplings and carrots, with a lovely thick red wine sauce.

Although the price is a lot more reasonable over here.
