Was it socks all round or did anyone get spoilt?

Personally I was very spoilt and got given my first designer handbag by my boyfriend. I'm sure none of you will be interested in that lol.

I seemed to get a bunch of 'do it yourself' presents. I got a 'make your own chocolate brownies' kit - the dry ingredients for choc brownies in a quite nice kilner jar. I also got a 'grow your own salad' kit - three small terracotta pots and lettuce, tomato and cucumber seeds.

The interesting one was a 'make your own chocolate' kit - the constituent parts of a bar of chocolate (cocoa solids, mass and butter and something sweet) which I can use to make my own 'blend' of chocolate. I'm quite interested in doing that.

I asked for - and then ordered myself - Far Cry 4 for Xbox One. I agreed with the wife we'd get one relatively inexpensive present only. This was mine.

My wife promptly forgot this and went about ordering me some other stuff:

Lamy Joy 1.1 pen
What If? book
Hubsan X4 Quadcopter
Champagne Truffles
Coffee Syrups

Also my parents bought me DragonAge Inquisition

I am interested, but only because the wife loves her designer handbags, so I'm always looking for inspiration.

I got a new monitor, a few bottles of booze, (whiskys and various baileys) and chocs and socks.

I bought her a pair of earrings and a necklace, (about a grands worth) and I'm sure there was more stuff, but I can't remember.

Surprised we didn't already have this thread.

From parents: new coat* and a cardigan* (yes a cardigan)
From siblings: aftershave/showergel, ipod touch, a chocolate cookbook, a box of fudge*, and a jumper (non-xmas)
From girlfriend: toiletries (only because I said to her I didn't want anything!)

* these were items I'd tried on and they bought.

Received, thanks, but I've just remembered that she follows me on Twitter, (and why wouldn't she!) so I'm just hoping she doesn't have notifications turned on, or that'll be another surprise ruined.

Lots and lots of sweets, a shirt, socks, trousers, a bedside lamp, a book, socks, slippers, a t-shirt.
I think that just about covers it.

Mark
