Hi,

So... I need a new computer chair. The only requirements are:

It can't be too wide, as I have limited space
It must be height adjustable
Back support is also a necessity

I'm not overly concerned about arm rests. I'll open it up to you, so any suggestions, or anything to avoid at all costs?

Thanks.

:)

Edit to add: i forgot to mention that the PC is currently setup in the corner of the living room, and moving it is not currently an option. The keyboard is on a cupboard type thing, which is 73cm tall, so it does need to be fairly tall.

Another possible solution would be a chair with a keyboard tray... Hmmm, must try having a look to see if they are even sold.

Arm rests are required for deep thought. This is a known fact

Arm rests would be needed if I decide to go with some kind of keyboard tray, but otherwise are just a "that would be nice, but it's not a deal breaker if they're not there" option.

Nobody ever launched a plan for world domination without arm rests. And who wants to have to lean forward before making a finger pyramid and sneering, 'Excellent!'?

Enough with the arm rests, already! OK, fine... feel free to tell me about chairs with frikkin' arm rests, if you really that strongly about them.

Oh yeah. Also, thanks in advance

You'll never fall out whilst drunk and never underestimate spinning round dramatically when a family member shows up. Though it's probably best not to do both at once.

Right, in all seriousness, will women be attempting to sit in this chair with their leg or legs tucked underneath them thus ruining it? If so, make sure it's well built. A small wheelbase is also useful.

We recently brought one of these which has height and back rest adjustments and is not too big (depending on the definition of too big). Both SWMBO and I are happy with this chair.

Hope this helps

Thanks Richard. The link didn't work but I find the chair. I'm also posting a link as my phone battery is about to die but I want to check this one as the height looks good.

link

Edit to add: my link didn't work either. Maybe it's the phone browser. I'll look tomorrow.

It seems that the website is slightly messed up, as the description is pink but the picture is black. Look for the black chair and the image is pink.
Also, it was the phone browser playing up, as the original link from Richard is working on the computer.
