The lovely people at Buzzfeed have raised the question today. I'm at least once a day, more if I go to the gym. How Often You Really Need To Shower

I'm 48-72 hours, If I go to the gym I will 'rinse' myself, but my skin and hair can't take being washed every day.

I have a shower maybe 6 mornings a week (I may not at the weekend if I'm not likely to see anyone that day) and I have a shower after going to the gym or for a swim, so I average more than one shower a day.

I tend to prefer a bath, as it seems to help my back. Not much, but a hell of a lot better than standing up in the shower, which is getting more and more problematic. I've just re-read that to check for spelling and OMG! I sound so frickin' old!

Other than normal days, it's affected by whether I've walked to work or not. Quite a few times a week anyway.

Once a day. Washing isn't the issue. Soap is. Dries the skin. I've switched to a moisturising shower gel which helps.

Unless he's at work, in which it's almost every day.

Every day, more if I've been to the gym. What I've noticed is that the students appear to be taking a more 'French' approach to the necessity of personal hygiene.
