The lovely people at Buzzfeed have raised the question today. I'm at least once a day, more if I go to the gym.

I'm 48-72 hours, If I go to the gym I will 'rinse' myself, but my skin and hair can't take being washed every day.

I have a shower maybe 6 mornings a week (I may not at the weekend if I'm not likely to see anyone that day) and I have a shower after going to the gym or for a swim, so I average more than one shower a day.

I tend to prefer a bath, as it seems to help my back. Not much, but a hell of a lot better than standing up in the shower, which is getting more and more problematic.

I've just re-read that to check for spelling and OMG! I sound so frickin' old! :(

Other than normal days, it's affected by whether I've walked to work or not. Quite a few times a week anyway.

Once a day. Washing isn't the issue. Soap is. Dries the skin. I've switched to a moisturising shower gel which helps.

Every day, more if I've been to the gym.
What I've noticed is that the students appear to be taking a more 'French' approach to the necessity of personal hygiene.
