Currently with Optical Express, thinking about changing... Price is key lol.

Specsavers but only because sisters go there. Didn't like the independent across the road.

SpecSavers here although I was toying with trying Boots or maybe a small local chain to see if they were any better.

I tried Vision Express once because SS's wouldn't deal with the company my work used to get Prescription Safety Glasses (they only wanted to flog their own not surprisingly) and the attitude of the assistant doing the pre-test screening thing was soo appalingly bad I've never been back. YMMV of course.

I used to be with Specsavers when I lived down south, but I went to the Manchester branch and wasn't impressed, so I went to Vision Express and have been with them since.

The Boots in Northampton that used to be Dollond & Aitchison

They're excellent

Dollond & Aitchison - Now Boots - near to work. Has a very good Contact lens optician
