Post subject: | Fridge forming ice drops |
I noticed a few weeks ago an ice block at the top of the back wall of my fridge. I turned the fridge to its lowest setting but it got bigger and bigger. Today I defrosted it and was able to get the ice block loose and lift it out (it was huge). Anyway, I opened the fridge again and ice drops are forming in the same place. I assumed it was left over water so I dried it up and it was completely dry. An hour later they are there again. It's an indecit fridge freezer (if that changes anything). Is there anything I can do to fix this? The drain hole thingy is completely dry with nothing in it. Or is this a call out jobby? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Either it is very humid in the fridge, or there is a leaking pipe somewhere... How old is it? I'd probably get someone to look at it. |

Are the seals clean & good? If the seals are gone then air will get in and form ice |

Ok, just contacted indesit and they pointed me to the manual download. After looking through that I found that the on off switch inside the fridge that's been on for the past 2 years is actually a "fast freeze" switch for getting the fridge down to temperature quickly. Gah! Just turned it off now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
