I got

Quote:
Rock am Ring/Rock im Park
Renowned as a German teen rite of passage and the sort of festival where tents could be lit on fire rather than packed up at the end of the weekend, Rock am Ring and Rock im Park go large. With your diverse tastes, no-nonsense approach to fun and strong allegiance to partying hard with your friends, you're like the human version of the one-weekend and two-venue event. You're probably a rock music lover at heart, but open to other stuff, too – and young at heart, no matter what your age.

Er, none of my friends would be caught dead at a rock gig otherwise a lot of that would be true for me. We share the same sense of humour but totally different tastes in just about everything else as we've gotten older. On the older front, yeah, 'growing up' is for people who have somewhat given up. Not only that, they might have failed to recognise we're all living longer...

Glastonbury
If people could be festivals, chances are you'd be ruddy-faced and Greenpeace-allied Glastonbury. You've got a wholesome and good heart, but also know how to tear it up after dark (whether ululating at the stone circle or letting the strobes wash over you like a warm tide at Shangri-La). If none of these references make sense because you've never been to Glasto, you've got the festival's spirit alive in you anyway, mate.

Not that far from the truth actually

Although people who don't know you think that your heart's as black as your favourite metal music, they'd be wrong. You're the human embodiment of Download festival, and thus wedded to rawk but not a one-dimensional, joy-hating grump dressed all in black and covered neck to toe in tattoos. Even if you are those things, you also love your friends and sharing music with them and generally having a laugh.
Make of that what you will.

The last festival I was at was Reading in '07 (I think). Nine Inch Nails, Smashing Pumpkins. VIP passes. And a £140 taxi ride back to Poplar with my mate, because he'd pulled and we didn't want to wait for a train.
A potted version of events is available here.

Some of the questions don't have a relevant answer, so none...

The legendary dance festival was founded in 1998 and still raves on, fist-pumping into the abyss each summer – as do you, when the music's just right. We respect and applaud your stamina

I'm Creamfields apparently.
This is news to me I have to say, although it probably didn't help that I was making relatively random choices for a fair few of the questions.

I don't much like festivals. The weather in this country isn't really suited to them as the audience invariably ends up either with trench foot or sun-stroke.

As an audience member there's generally too many people to too few bands that I really want to see and besides most of the decent ones (from my PoV) are better appreciated in a dark club than a muddy-floored tent. The last time I went to a festival as an audience member, it was held literally 10 minutes walk away from where I lived at the time so it was easy to pop back home if the weather or the bands were [LIFTED].

As a band member my festival ideal would be to be helicoptered in a couple of minutes before I was due on stage and to be whisked away again whilst the final notes of the last song are still ringing! In reality I spend a lot of time in the band van or somewhere warm and dry backstage. We have our second festival gig of 2015 coming up tomorrow. With a bit of luck it will stay reasonably dry and I won't have to spend most of the following day cleaning mud and grass off our equipment.
